As a Chinese immigrant who is now a citizen of America for the longest time... This movie was a disaster. The choice to use English as the language of choice forced the script to be dumbed down to the level of a elementary school level. This resulted in absolutely zero acting and no facial emotion at all in the cast as they tried to read their scripts in a non native language. Overall, the movie is like American Chinese takeout food. Looks Chinese, but utterly fails to capture it's essence. Feels more like a bad parody than anything
