This was an extremely hard film to watch - but that’s because of how phenomenal the acting was when covering such a difficult storyline. It’s the kind of story that really hurts your heart & leaves a lasting impression. It covers loss, depression, eating disorders, complicated family dynamics, lack of empathy/sympathy at times, but also a lot of love. It just goes to show that everyone has a story, we all have dark parts to our story. I think it’s a massive lesson on showing a little humanity & honesty to each other- even as painful as it is. You never know how far a little kindness and understanding can go. But the film also argues the idea that only we have the power to change ourselves- and not each other. The only story we get to write is our own. Every actor in this film nailed their part.
