TIGER KING

I liked the movie, it is better than Snyder's other DC movies. I liked Snyder adding some levity with the Flash and Cyborg is fleshed out. I didn't vibe with long slow mo scenes with dramatic music, once or twice fine but they overstayed their welcome very quick. I didn't like the choice of colors that still dour the scenes. There is difference between serious and dour, between humor and levity. He doesn't need to copy Marvel, but what he does needs to be done so well to resonant with enough of the public to make money to cover the budgets. And he did not do it. Yes he only knows his way, but his way can be improved by collaboration and input, which he also did not do. The only Snyder movie I liked is 300, but that was mainly due to its at the time unique visuals and the underdog story, that blended well with Snyder's direction while respecting the source material (there is difference between portraying your characters as myths than angry gods). I like this movie almost as much as 300, it works, not great.
