The audio version is so terrible that it's hard for me to judge whether the book might have been decent if I had just been reading it. It is read by the author, and may as well have been read by my neighbor. Literally just reading it. No change of voice, no change of inflection, and nearly impossible to figure out who is saying what when there are three people participating in a conversation. I don't know what made this author think that he had the ability to breathe any life at all into these words. If you want to give it a try, definitely don't do it through the audiobook.
