I enjoy this show. Sure it is a slower paced, which I personally find freshing, as so tired of the fast paced, lots if sexual scenarios, blood and gore in the fast paced city. Although they have a place.
I like Rossif Sutherland, dark, moody performance, he sounds very much like his Dad, Donald Sutherland. Kristen Kruek is a sweet, caring librarian, and her friend too.
Interestingly, Rossif Sutherland is continuing his late, legendary father Donald Sutherland’s legacy, as the storyline holds a special meaning after he realised that his dad had once tried to get a film adaptation of the novels years before Rossif took on his role.
This particular show reminds me of the Tom Selleck TV show Jesse Stone. It is that sort of pace. The scenery is wonderful.
Give it a try if you liked the Jesse Stone series. 😉
