Genuinely one of the best movies ever. It may not be some people's cup of tea but it sure was mine. I feel a lot of the people complaining didn't get the point but hey, not my problem. The promotion and love this movie received for empowering women and showing how *hard* it is to be one made me tear up multiple times. Beautiful music, beautiful shots, beautiful story... Times can be tough but as that one trend says, "Oh how I love being a woman!"
If you're thinking about watching this, you should. Just give it a try. It's not gonna hurt you. If you have a woman in your family who wants to see it, go see it. Understanding each other and how we hurt one another is essential for us to grow and mature. but more importantly, learning how the patriarchy has denied *all of us* respect can help us move away from that. Love one another, hug one another, and you'll have some people there with you in the long run. Love you <3
