Janet Childs

Not a stand-out adaptation of Jane Austen's novel. Dakota Johnson did well enough as the lead character but the actor portraying Capt. Wentworth was weak and unconvincing. None of the other actors portrayed rounded and memorable characters. In fact it was difficult to stick with the production but I was determined to see it through!

Excellent storyline and superb cast. Martin Freeman was outstanding and was supported by an excellent cast particularly the younger ones playing the parts of Casey and Marco.
