Brook Day

I was hoping this would live up to the first movie and it definitely did. There were Easter Eggs but it also had its own plot and vibe. I love seeing a movie where the whole audience goes threw emotions and laughs out loud together, and this was one of them.

I went in prepared to love or hate this movie as there isn't a lot of middle ground with M. Night Shyamalan in my experience. Our entire group found it very entertaining, I went with three other people and it had all of us on the edge of our seat. Josh Hartnett did an excellent job of making us somewhat root for the antagonist and the protagonist at the same time. The second half didn't quite live up to what the first half delivered, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5. However, I still highly recommend seeing the movie if this is a genre you enjoy!

This was supposed to be a campy action series that doesn't take itself seriously, and it delivers. I have such great memories of watching all the Arnie movies with my dad growing up, so this was nostalgic fun.

4 of us went to see it and everyone rated it 10/10, but it also was pretty heartbreaking. Recommend seeing it on the big screen.
