Why is an 8 year old children's character being portrayed as a 16 year old? What's even more strange is in the film she seems to still have the mental age and awareness of a much younger child. Calling this film out as insanely messed up. I'm sure many an older gentleman enjoyed it. I'm amazed there hasn't been more of a backlash, weren't kids asking why she wasn't the same age as them anymore? They even advise that 6-10 year olds should not watch the film unaccompanied....so the original Dora wouldn't be able to watch a film she's in without her own parents. I'd laugh if I wasn't already holding back the vomit.
