OMG This is bad. Megan Fox leading a group of mercenaries. Enough said. Is there a way I can un-see the part of the movie I was able to watch. Shock therapy is acceptable.

Poor story, terrible dialogue and limp ending. But the action sequences are good and would have been better if not for the poor camera work and shaky cam. Zooming in and out during fight movements to generate impact actually distracts and detracts from the elegance of the fights. Watch it for the action and skip all the other bits.

This movie promised so much but ended up being very disappointing and contrived. Not realistic and fanciful. It lacks intelligence and depth. The story may as well have ended with the soldier waking up and realising it was all a dream. I hate those weak, cop out storylines.

A very poor follow up to Band of Brothers. The only thing good is the production quality and the action sequences. The big difference between The Pacific and BoB is the calibre of actors and the dramatic flow of the story. I didn't find any of the characters likeable or engaging. I found the Robert Leckie character particular annoying and really wanted him to get shot. Overall, it's worth watching once but I wouldn't watch it again.
