I would still say this show is my favorite of all time due to seasons 1-6, which i consider some of the most entertaining/clever TV ever. On the other hand, seasons 7-8 were botched, and 9-11 have mostly been OK. Rick obviously made the show and it was a shame to see him go, but he had his reasons. I think getting rid of Carl without reasons was a total failure, as the show was about the Grimes family from the start. With all of my heart, i want to give it 5 stars, but since Season 6 it has been a completely different show. And the reasons the show has been dragged down since have been totally controllable and were not due to following the comics.
