I liked it. Not everyone will. Yes there are musical numbers, because a lot of it is pure fantasy. The first one had a lot of music, too. This is not an action movie, and not a comic book movie. It's not really a musical either, per se. It's just embellished on occasion, because the guy is losing his mind fast. And it's a tragedy, not a comedy. See it if you want to get into Arthur Fleck's head more. If you don't, I can't blame you. But I was curious about the rest of his story and how Harley would be involved. Without this sequel, his story would be incomplete. Now it is. Sit back and enjoy it for what it is, not you expected or wanted it to be. Because it's a good movie. The Joker would get it, even if most audiences don't seem to. I think that's the point.

Why? It's just a much longer version of a bad film. The extra scenes don't add anything that makes it better. It just drags out the pain. If you like the original version you might like this one. But to me, it reminded me of how George Lucas' Special Edition changes only made Star Wars worse. Justice League ain't no Star Wars. It was bad to begin with and the changes aren't helpful. Spoiler: I did like seeing a reimagined Joker.. for about 2 minutes. At the very end. In what was only a pointless dream.
