It's still entertaining! A few hours before watching, I read a terrible 1-star review about how cheesy, boring, and horrendous (the exact word used in that review) it is. Well, that was extremely subjective. The acting is not bad at all. Science wise (the storm patterns, chemicals, etc), I have no clue, but as someone who enjoys fiction, I got along well with the plot. It's fiction!! Nothing super awkward if you pay attention to details. Just enjoy the show.

It's still entertaining to watch. The bad reviews made me want to watch it even more, and I am NOT disappointed. Lots of action and humor, the 3D is not too bad, the storyline makes sense though it is a bit light / not so intense. I still think WW 1984 is worse (yes, I know it's not Marvel; I just can't get over how disappointed I was).

I grew up in Indonesia and I rarely enjoy Indonesian movies (because they're mostly ridiculous horror or cheesy drama), but this is one of a few that I enjoyed watching. It's stupid funny with lots of action, and also has a meaningful friendship story. I don't blame you if you don't enjoy it as much because of the language and context.

I read the bad reviews about bad acting and plot, but I watched it anyway. I think those bad reviews are wrong. Not many Christian action films (with deep meaningful story) were made well like The Shift. Everything makes sense and some scenes gave an aha moment when you think of what happens in daily life - in spiritual warfare. I recommend you to read the book of Job for an enrichment before (or after) watching the movie.

The main character is super annoying - really stubborn & selfish (which was defined as "hopeful"). I hated the bothering jump scares here and there. Too many unexplained things and the midnight stories make it more like a scatterbrained person's mind instead of an integrated plot. I gave the 2 stars for the successful drama in it. I think this could be a 2 hours film, not a 10 episodes series.

As an action movie lover (absolutely not a critic), I think Interceptor is entertaining and it's refreshing to see Elsa Pataky as JJ Collins here. She rocks! For a supposedly high-tech related movie produced with a low budget, they did a great job.
