I liked in the beginning but started to add scenes that weren't necessary- asking about La La's tattoo? The pulling off the wig scene? The toasts at the dinner? Seemed like Kenya was trying to give everyone some shine but wasn't needed. Also, in many parts of Black culture, cursing in front of someone's parents or at them is a major level of disrespect... let alone being involved in a heavy drug like cocaine. That was overkill. I don't know too many parents who would give their daughter over to that. And all the lies he kept telling. Wow! The story line would've been better if it ended with the couple broken up because they shouldn't have been together.
