WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! This movie missed EVERY MARK! No character development, no buildup, nothing scary about it!! Didn't even feel bad when anyone was killed! (Only for the kids, just bcs they were kids... there was no time to even get to know and care about them). "Salem's Lot" is one of my FAV King stories!! I LOVE both, the 1979 miniseries and the 2004 miniseries. My Hubby and I had to re-watch the original AGAIN, after wasting our time with this movie! (Trust me...we don't need an excuse to watch it anyway... lol). I would even rather watch, "A Return to Salem's Lot"..... and that was pretty BAD, before ever watching this 2024 sad excuse of a remake!! Had high hopes for this.... But, oh...what a LET-DOWN! Only good thing about it was the song, "Sundown", and the COOL cars!!
