Just discovered this show and LOVE it. It is so wholesome and entertaining. Lou can be annoying but then redeems herself. The character Tim is the reason I did not give the show a 5 star rating. I am waiting for someone to put Tim in his place permanently! He is the only character who is absolutely intolerable. He is a mean bully, and I find the stretches when he’s not in it so much more enjoyable. Even the best of families wouldn’t put up with a Tim tearing down the sons-in- laws…who are all upstanding men…and interfering in the most destructive way. He’s a train wreck no one but Jack and occasionally Mitch will somewhat take on. It would be a perfect show w/o his character. I’m guessing that the writers expect us and want us not to like him. If that’s the case…success.
