Envisioning about being wrapped in a warm blanket, taking a sip or two of liquid bliss from the almost brimming mug of hot chocolate, reading your favourite novel on a chilly night, basking in the warmth of the crackling fireplace nearby, brings a smile on your face, doesn't it? Aniruddh and Bondita, two flawlessly flawed characters, coming together to fill into the empty crevices of the other's life, similarly, brings a smile on my face instantly, filling my insides with warmth. But Barrister Babu is much more than just a love story of two individuals bringing out the best in the other, taken from the pages of pre independent India, it is the tale of two badlav partners clasping hands to bring about a change in the society. He saved her from the immolating fire of the Sati, but never let the spark of inquisitiveness in her dwindle, instead he fanned it, educated her, burnt his own self like the wood so that the fire in her could sustain, and moulded her into a version of herself who was so capable that she herself became the very embodiment of fire — burning the malpractices and social evils into ashes, while providing warmth of light and education to those who needed it. Indeed this show is special, and it will forever remain so, and there wouldn't be another pairing as beautiful and imperfectly perfect, like our #AniDita.

Pravisht Mishra and Anchal Sahu (#AnVisht) were absolutely bewitching in their craft, absolutely magical, and they portrayed their part with such dedication and sincerity that it left us enchanted, and awed, making us fall in love with the kind of love they had for one another, without sullying the pristine essence of the bond they previously shared, it seemed as if the rosé tint of romanticism only enhanced their ethereal bond further... And Aurra Bhatnagar Badoni played her part beautifully making us fall in love with the inquisitive child that Bondita Das (Roy Chowdhury) was, a firefly glowing with curiousity, courage and thousand unanswered questions who found all her answers in Aniruddh Roy Chowdhury, her husband, her 'Shikshak', her 'Sakha', her ' Sansaar'. - Briti Sengupta
