As someone who couldn't believe the original Spitting Image was so rude outrageous/near the knuckle this is very tame in comparison.
Puppets are good but voices are poor compared to the stellar originals.
What's really missing is the comic timing- its trying to hard and perhaps a little rushed where the original was spot on and daring this is "meh" comedy that just isn't really that funny
