I do prefer Marvel over DC, as DC does tend to be dark. It did have some good music (old songs redone), and the acting was fantastic. But that can’t mask the overall drug out and depressing storyline. I can see how it leads into the Joker we know, but it wasn’t surprising. Just depressing. The two other people I was with (who comic fans) felt the same way - it wasn’t entertainment. I will probably never see another DC. But at the end of the day, DC experts and fans will make the final call.

I don’t know why people would not not enjoy this film. It moved along well and the characters were fun. A little bit of good versus evil and a lot of action. It has a strong female role and hits all the notches for diversity and inclusion (if that’s important to the viewer). But if you’re offended by whiffs of toxic masculinity, then you should probably pass on this one.

Not at all about what previews allude to, but the entire show was gripping and moved into areas that were totally unexpected. The script artfully kept you waiting for every corner, and you’re not disappointed. If you’re looking for a show with a common storyline or one that is political slanted, you’re wasting your time.

As much as I love some of these characters, I was really hoping this new series with refresh with a more engaging, faster pace storyline. I think we’re really offends me though,is that you sit through it for 50 minutes and then the creators want come on after to explain everything they just showed you. Just like WD, it seemed self-worshiping and obnoxious. If they’re telling a good story and telling it right, they don’t need to do that.

This movie was a big disappointment. Ridiculous and borish storyline of victimhood. If my kids were little, I wouldn't even let them watch this since this movie would have them believe that hope comes from elves and truth fairies. And would it wouldn't hurt to see Christ mentioned in Christmas movies?

I would call Manifest an addictive melodrama. Not really enjoyable or overly creative, but you can't stop watching it.
