Festive Moth

This is my non-spoiler review. It’s a good movie... just not a good Guy Ritchie movie. It’s definitely one of his least strong. It feels like it’s, for lack of words, underdeveloped. It’s a good action movie, don’t get me wrong. But some characters are super useless. Andy Garcia’s character and a few others don’t do anything and aren’t really needed. There’s four chapters of this movie. “Evil Spirits”, “Scorched Earth”, “Bad Animals, Bad”, and “Liver, Lung, Spleen, and Heart”. “Scorched Earth” is utterly useless and does nothing to move the plot and each Chapter has at least one scene that either doesn’t makes sense or doesn’t add to the movie. There’s a huge cast of characters and half of which don’t do anything for the movie. It’s also hard to navigate going back and forth with “One month earlier” or “Five more weeks”. It needs a second watch for me to like it more and it’s worth watching but don’t go in expecting a classic Guy Ritchie movie. Because it isn’t.
