I absolutely loved it! It really resonated with me as a trans man, and how impactful David Bowie was in my life. I was gripped by all the points in the book and the animation of the world really makes the book come to life. It puts sci-fi in a different perspective, and relies on change, which is amazing! David Bowie’s concept of change originated from Tibetan Buddhism, when he traveled to Tibet to become a monk. The master that taught him told him many stories and gave him wisdom that stayed in his vision for the rest of his life. I feel like this book is a perspective of the concept of change. It also brings me comfort to know that I’m not alone in the fight for being comfortable with change. It’s different for everyone, how they react to change. This book gave me a perspective that I didn’t know I needed. Thank you Marco B. Bucci and Riccardo Atzeni!
