So I only recently got into Borderlands this year and I'm not usually a fan of gun games but I instantly fell in love with the witty writing and unique characters. I was so excited to find out I became a fan in time for the newest game to be released and it is pretty awesome but also upsetting. I love the fact that guns now have alternate shooting modes, but hate how frustrating the trade system has become. The new duel system is nice but it is so hard to read and play on the horizontal splitscreen. My fiance tried to drop me an item near the NewU station on Sanctuary and it just phased through the floor, never to be seen again. New cars are incredible and I like the new skin nods to the characters like Angel and Lilith, but sometimes while driving, the minimap disappears. Sometimes player names disappear so you can't find your teammates. When my fiance and I first started playing, the lag was so incredible, we both randomly died without anything near us. The second time we lagged, the whole game crashed and we lost the loot we had just gotten from a bad*** creature including my blue rarity sniper rifle that I was suped to equip. But really my biggest pet peeve is that we spent over a hundred dollars total ordering the Super Deluxe Preorder and I was enamored with the special items and put them in my personal vault in my room, only to return and find that all of those PLUS my other flavor text items like Mouthpiece's gun had all vanished! The voice actors sound great, but you can only hear them when both players aren't close to them so they come through the ECHO. The Fight for Your Life timer is obnoxiously shorter, but I like that any kill revives you. I hate how the beastmaster can't see the health of his pets on splitscreen.
