My all time favourite zombie flick EVER. This movie screams 80s in the best way, the wardrobes, the soundtrack, the dialog, it's all corny, campy fun! A fun spin on the zombie genre, and absolutely worth the watch for any 80s horror movie fan! The practical effects are also amazing, 10/10 love this film!

One of the greatest horror/sci-fi films ever made. This movie is a prime example of how setting and atmosphere are so important to making a film great. The acting is great, the practical effects are fantastically disgusting, and the plot is wonderful. There's a reason this titan of an 80s horror flick is considered one of the best. It creates a sense of hopelessness, dread, and unease throughout and keeps you on your toes, guessing/wondering. Do yourself a favour and watch this movie!!

Absolutely laughable film, and totally forgettable! The acting was awful, teetering between stone flat, and way over dramatic for the scene, even Bruce was awful in this one! They were practically emotionless, even after a death, or when facing danger. The plot made ZERO sense whatsoever, and half of the character's reactions and decisions made even less sense than the half formed plot.

Interesting take on the old Grimm tale, but it falls flat in terms of excecution. The scenery was beautiful, and there were some decently creepy parts, but overall the movie was very slow and rather boring. Save for the end when the climax was very rushed and underwhelming. Sophia Lillis really dropped the ball on this one, her acting was awful, with her mostly having a stoic, blank expression the entire time (and no accent despite everyone else having one??) Many scenes felt pointless and just there for filler, as did almost all of the characters. But the witch was very well portrayed! Really an underwhelming film entirely. All in all, not terrible, but absolutely not something i'd watch again.

They took a story with an interesting twist, and made an unnecessary sequel that made no real sense in the end. For some reason, taking a completely supernatural route with Brahms that the first movie previously established never even existed in the first place. Adding some bizarre, confusing backstory to the doll that just made the whole thing a mess in an attempt to justify why they would change the entire story. Not recommended if you're looking for some real continuation to the first film. The only similarity between the first, and this, was the doll, and a few scenes and some mentions of the Heelshires. The doll is now for some reason completely possessed by some unknown entity, and makes for a very cliché story. Which is unfortunate considering the somewhat original premise the first had.

Very bizarre and extremely boring. Story was all over the place, characters were awful, and trust me, the plot isn't as good as the description makes it sound. By far the stupidest vampire movie i've ever seen, I was left wishing to get my time back after seeing it. Even the vampire mutations were utterly laughable (and not in a good way) Do yourself a favour and skip this one.

Nicholas Cage starring in this should be your first clue it's gonna suck! The acting is just awful, and the dialog and story are just painful to try and sit though. Sorry Nick, this one isn't good either.

Love Jeffery Combs and the Reanimator series, but this one really wasn't great. Felt like Brian Yuzna just made this one because he could, didn't have the charm of humour of the originals at all. Just felt like the type of sequel directors pop out to make a quick buck from fans of the originals. Still a fun watch, but not really something i'd watch again! I'd stick to the first two.
