Normally I would rate today's show a 5+, but not today's show, 5/7/2024. I was really disappointed in the most of the crew, criticism of Kristi Noem. First of all when you live on a ranch or a farm, which I haven't done. Her dog was wild attacking people and killing livestock. She couldn't just call a vet to have a wild dog put down. It would have been dangerous for the vet and a potential law suit, if they had gotten bit. When you're in the country, you take matters yourself. I had a similar experience with a dog when I was thirteen. We had to have our dog put down. She had bitten my little cousin a nip on the cheek. She had to restrained when anyone came to the door. So a few years later when someone came to the door, my Dad got up to restain the dog and she bit his hand, so much so he could hold her off the ground. I knew then what was going to happen. I'm a dog lover. Later we took in my uncle's dog, who was one of sweetest dogs ever. Many years later I saved a dog who was previously abused. I loved that dog more than anything. And yes we had to put her down, she was 15 1/2, because of cancer. That was in 1997. Many reasons I didn't replace her, one of which I'm allergic to dogs and cats more so. So please give Kristi a break. Helen
