This show has let down so many star trek fans is has gotten to the point where CBS needs help bad. Not only does it go against lots of established fictional history. It also seems to have bring in diversity to cover these plot holes. However I do like the fact that they tried to be creative with the klingons and continue with the recent movie additions. However it would have been better it there was forethought to why there differently figured. Instead of making them special there is just no explanation. Sounds like a few departments need to work together more. I did like they had 2 women leads in the first 2 episodes because it was different. But that was soon squashed when I could see they show wanted have the horribly under proven hypothesis of race as a moral point. It was presented superficial had no depth because they didn't let the audience get to know characters first. That's how you are supposed to write a story. In other words the show had great creativity but poor focus for it. Not trying to trash it but give constructive criticism. Lol not like anyone who works for CBS will see this. I would recommend a consultant who can tell you where to bend the rules. That way it doesn't end up as bad as Disney and star wars.
