Finally.... something other than hollywood pap. I thoroughly enjoyed this slice of Saudi arab muslim dystopia. Visually part kafka and part bladerunner the film is as much about the storyline as it is a dark reveal of Saudi life, wealth, influence and tradition in the face of modern life. When I saw this it actually got a round of applause when the credits rolled and was a well attended viewing. If you're feeling starved of good film and are curious about life beyond the blockbuster superhero nonsense that dominates modern cinema, Give Mandoob a try.

Saw the Fall Guy this evening. Really bad in all respects. Hollywood schlock at it's clumsiest. It's not funny, there is no chemistry between Gosling and Blunt. The soundtrack is unforgivably loud. I had to fight the urge to leave before the end. Avoid. Save your money. Ignore the 5 star reviews - clearly part of the sludge of fakery that is the American Film industry these days.
