I watched the entirety of this drama, but TBH it felt like a big waste of time. There is so much palace scheming (especially between all the female characters) that you have to trudge through, and while the romance is a satisfying slow burn in the latter half, it takes too long to build up and the ending is a huge letdown that felt like a way for the writers to appease conservative viewers. Acting was over the top, particularly from the heroine who I normally have loved, but I didn't find her portrayal especially in the early episodes very convincing. Generally not worth the 20+ hours you'll have to invest into this.
