An odd mix of reading levels and subject matter, but offering a good review of the Salem witch trials through the first half of the book. Then the subject matter diverges in a seemingly unrelated detour to an interesting treatise on Ben Franklin (and others involved in the American Revolution). Clearly the text is intended to offer a perspective on the current state of "witch hunts" in America. In his Author's Notes O'Reilly concludes something is generating this. Apparently Bill has forgotten he was employed by Fox News.
