ADVANCED stupid

It's a game that would have been better as some map-based time-management strategy with visual novel elements for dialogue. The mechanics are bloated and turgid, The so called "friction" isn't friction if you aim to survive. The story fails to draw anyone in (just playing the game to finish it and uninstall). People were comparing this to Deus Ex (2000). I have no idea how.

This MMO single-handedly destroyed the genre, turning the industry from a sandbox experience (as seen in Ultima Online, Everquest and Eve Online) to basically a giant online theme park with shallow mechanics. But due to it's extremely low barrier entry, simple gameplay, child-like graphics "WoW glow" and faux complexity the game gained a lot of support in the lower socio-economic cohorts of society. This in turn nullified all prospects of unique or sandbox-based MMOs in favor for WoW-like clones, relying more on theme-park gimmicks.

How Ridley Scott has fallen. The director who brought such great movies as Black Hawk Down and Kingdom of Heaven has failed to deliver and instead has repeated his last half dozen mistake and brought yet another stinker to the silver screen. Compared to other iterations of Napolean this is by far the weakest, most infantile nonsensical version ever to be presented. You know what they say, if I director hasn't made a good movie in 20 years perhaps they're way past their expiration date.

If there was ever a show so full of itself it would be The Man in The High Castle. Slow, boring, honestly I watched Season 1 and it was painful. This could do with a hard edit. Remove 15 minutes from each episode. The story of Frank Frink can be cut out completely and the quality of the story would increase. Totally unnecessary and go-nowhere thread. But as I said, a show full of itself. The sets and props feel cheap. The uniforms look oddly fake (as if the material itself was cheap and bland). The sets are small, awkward and the use of digital effects in certain places really makes that stand out. I can safely say this was more disappointing than my son.
