Pretentious garbage. Don’t fall for the pseudo-intellectual rationalizations from other reviewers trying to justify it. There is nothing clever nor interesting about this movie. I could only last 45 minutes, and I have no doubt that the rest of the movie is just as horrible. I actually felt embarrassed for Netflix for dedicating any time/energy toward making this film. I decided to watch this movie because Netflix’ description was that it was something along the lines of “Adam Driver is hilarious in this quirky film.” I did not laugh once. I did not smile once. It bothers me that some in the film industry think that working-class stiffs, like myself, in America would want to waste our precious free time watching someone else’s self-indulgent trash.
