Disappointed at the end to see that a consistent chef with great food that talked about our culture, heritage, and where the roots of our food was derived from, loses to an American mediocre version of soul food. The other chef that won was inconsistent but however because her food "felt like home" she won despite how flawed her food was. It was disappointing to watch a chef give soul food integrity, beautiful executed, flavourful, and storytelling lose to mediocrity. He was definitely robbed.
