Good animation and the show gets a lot of things right in capturing the feel of the 80s show. That said the decision to kill he-man and sideline him was a poor one.
The original show was never one with great depth and you watched it to see he-man kick some butt, say his catchphrase and here the cool theme song.
I like most fans want more fleshed out the characters, adding greater world building and a coherent narrative. I like that they tried to give Teela a prominent role. But none of those reasons required he-man’s death. All the points being made about “deeper characters” and “more mature storytelling” equally apply to He-Man.
