What a fabulous read much of which is Steve's own voice and words. You can almost hear him speaking. I cried I laughed and cried again. Meticulous research adds the realism and how many photos of his collection. Amazing. Well done , what a great way to pay tribute to your grandfather.

Oh dear, what have the BBC done to Mo Hayder's books. Her books especially the first two "The treatment" and "Birdman" are superb. Attention to detail, great story , full characters and a story running through them that drags you in. This drama based on the book Wolf is just bizarre. I'm no film maker and they clearly wanted to go with this angle but it's a letdown from the books. Read them ,you won't be disappointed if you like a police story. I've watched five episodes so I'm hoping it's a grand finale that makes me retract all this...
