I REALLY DID NOT LIKE THIS MOVIE. If you like Blair Witch and the shaky cam style you might like it but for me, I absolutely could not stand the main character Annie. She was very annoying every moment on screen. Nothing happens in the movie until about about 15 minutes in. It was predictable and stretched on W A Y T O O L O N G.

Kept me glued to the TV - which is what entertainment is all about. It’s well done for most of the film , until they completely revealed the person / thing in the wall. then it sort of flatlined for me. It seemed to be trying a little too hard to scare the audience and have a creepy ending. It wasn’t a horrible movie so if you want something to kill time , go for it.

After watching dud after dud this was a relief to find. It’s not a stellar film but it kept me interested and a had a few tense moments. It’s a fun watch. Three stars seems a bit stingy so I went with four. I’d rather have been able to give 3 1/2 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ok .... maybe I’ve seen too many of these shows but I wasn’t as enthused as some of the people who left her marks here. It took WAY more than half way through for it to semi redeem itself. If you’re not used to watching horror movies go ahead and give it a try.

This is not like Hill House which was about the scares. This one is more haunting in an emotional / psychological way. Not everyone will like it but I did. Quite a few of the monologues made me tear up. If you’re not expecting another Hill House, and you’re an active ( not passive ) viewer , give it a try.

Why do Americans have a hard time making horror movies ? Maybe we overthink it all. This is a good zombie movie. Made me yell , made me cry. It is subtitled but don’t let that be a deterrent.
