Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World

Great attention to detail, acting is superb and the plot is decent, however was a bit disappointed that the film kept building up to something that never really came. Doesnt really feel like you have seen anything amazing once the movie is over. Spoilers: Despit what happens they always seemed to find the enemy ship, even though it was ment to be faster and stealthier than theirs. In the beginning the ship took alot of damage and they say that damage is not repairable, but then seconds later they are repairing the ship at sea with no issues. Also the doctor seems to want to go after exotic animals when he knows that they are ment to be hunting down the french ships, not sure why he is insisting on finding animals then. Suprise plot point at the end was pretty cool, however film ends before we get to see anything cool happen. Originally gave this film a 4 stars but after all these points I have taken it down to a 3 star.

Really disappointed with this movie. After leaving the theatre i didnt really feel so upset as i just love seeing dinosaurs on the big screen, however after thinking about it i now fell let down. This movie is not about dinosaurs. Its about a clone girl and a locust plague that needs to be stopped. The dinosaurs feature but they are not the main part of this movie, which a jurrasic park/world movie should be focusing on. The dinosaur fight scenes at the end were all in the dark and you couldnt really make out what was going on. Almost no gore in this movie and nobody of importance dies unlike we see in every other jurrasic park movie. Even when the dinosaurs are chasing people, nobody is scared and except for the one motorbike fight scene there is pretty much no fear factor involved. Really hope they dont end the series now and i hope that a much better director takes over for the next one.

Watched this yesterday Firstly ignore all critics they are all talking trash. This movie was a breath of fresh air. The plot was easy to understand and unexpected and it covers all issues regarding the Avengers. The Comedy was on point and this movie can even be categorised as a comedy. Actions scenes are amazing and the CGI is unbelievable, one of the best i have seen in a movie. Cinematography is stunning and Visualls are beautiful and incredible The cast is also very well put together and you can tell that they on purpose used every culture in order to diversify the movie, but had they not done this there would have been many complaints. Please Go and watch this movie and do not read any of the BRAINDEAD CRITICS!! 8/10

Watched this in the Cinema Today. Can honestly say that F9 is more of a superhero movie than anything else.(Dom and his team would be better off fighting Thanos than the Avengers themselves!!!) Makes you laugh how unrealistic almost every stunt is. Comedy gold and filled with Action. Not the best Fast and furious movie but definitely the most action packed with the most amount of crazy Stunts! Highly Recommended

Great CGI scenes and some good acting from some especially Noomi Rapace, however there were too many plot holes that just were not explained Why is David using a human as a test subject or killing him? How did he survive after being burnt and without oxygen How did the snake come to being? What was showing up on the radar that was alive? Where did all that black stuff come from? Why did the alien die in the beginning? Why is only one alien alive? What were the aliens running away from? ...I can go on all day with these This movie was also drawn out to long especially when they didnt bother with explaining what was going on in the movie anyway Would recommend to people who enjoy CGI and Sci fi that makes little sense.
