I just returned from seeing the film and was prompted to read reviews of it by critics or reviewers I often follow, The New Yorkers, New York Times, et al.
I tend to avoid reading reviews before I see a film so I can see it fresh without any notions as to what to expect.
While the films beginning was a bit off putting and confusing the film began to cohere once the principal characters and their relationship became clear.
The narrative had at times an impromptu or disjunctive feel mirroring those scenes where the principal character was among her fellow film students attempting to frame a moment and capture it on film.
I found the film fascinating and encourage views to see it before reading about.
