Blue Fire

I liked it. I liked J-lo's acting. I enjoyed the plot even though it was very predictable. Did not love all the clichés and tropes of the female scientist protagonist at the start but at least she never falls in love with any humans. It's entertaining and easy to watch. Give it a watch if you have a rainy afternoon.

I really enjoyed this movie but I watch really depressing stuff for fun. I enjoyed the realism of not knowing what's going on. That everyone is flawed and there is no hero in this film. I thought the ending was good too. Not a happy ever after but not a sad ending either. Its not an action dystopian end of the world apocalypse film. If you need stuff blowing up and people getting killed every other scene to keep your attention then this isn't the film for you. This is a slow burn character film and it only has three stars from me and not five because I wanted a bit more from it. A bit more grit, more tension and release.

Not good at all. Plot holes everywhere, unrealistic fight with a huge lion that some how didn't get burnt to death when a jeep exploded in flames (despite being half in the vehicle at the time), weak characters and acting was meh at best. Disappointing.
