Utterly garbage. Writers and director appear to have been trying to emulate the 1954 film. While not going into the ridiculousness of the conduct of a realistic court-martial, the actors were trying to perform as the actors in the 1954 film very awkwardly. I know most, if not all, the actors engaged in this film are better than what was presented.
Would give the rating less than one star, if possible.
