Funny subtext is that the actor playing the cabbie is, in real life, an A lister of Italian cinema who has actually worked with Fellini & co. But here he is the personification of A charmingly simple married cabbie.whose fawning and non stop chattering is endearing to the viewer but excessive to his A list passengers.
