As I've been a fan since the 2014 release, the Five Nights At Freddy's movie did everything I wanted it to do. Creepy, scary, funny, and straight up enjoyable. It was well worth the wait. I had the biggest smile throughout the entire movie, every reference me, my brother, and cousins got hyped out of our minds.
I could see how people who aren't fans would be confused or even weirded out with some of the choices made in the story telling. Especially the "fort" scene, but I actually loved that scene, it was so wholesome and it makes sense if you know the lore well. As long term fans, me and my group completely understood and loved how they executed the story and plot. Sometimes the pacing was off I guess, but it wasn't a problem for me. I was hooked the entire film.
The shots where super cinematic, the music was awesome and so fitting, and the acting was top notch imo. I adored it, my brother did, and my two cousins did too. One of which isn't super into the franchise, but still walked out stunned. As a fnaf fan you can tell how much passion everyone put into the film, and you'll definitely tell when Scott put in references.
All in all, the film was amazing. and if your a fnaf fan, I would 100% see it in theatre before it's gone. If your reading this later down the line, still, give it a watch!!
If your not a fan, still, go into it with an open mind. It is a great film!
