The original Saved by the Bell wasn't great, but compared to this it looks like a masterpiece. The new Saved by the Bell (2020) is terrible. I saw one of the main actors saying that the original characters were stereotypes and the original show was "problematic matters," which does he think about this new version? All of the new characters are walking stereotypes without any good quality. You have the transgender character, check. A strong female character, check. the stupid male character, check. I'm so sick and tired of Hollywood lacking creativity and satire, low brow humor of modern comedy. The original characters were flaws but they weren't terrible, even Zack. I truly hope the show gets cancel like the original.

I will admit I'm in the minority but this series is terrible in my opinion. I had never read the books, so I can't judge them, but what I had seen of the series it's boring, backstory makes no sense, and uninterested characters. Just to name a few. there are things I like, the realistic technologies and setting but the alien left me cold feeling like the series didn't know what it is. It is supposed to be about the first contact, a 90s series, Space Above and Beyond did it better.
