Joye Meeker

This endearing and beautiful novel has everything. Dubois’ uniquely understated style and the love he has for all his characters, especially Tom, is obvious in this story about a man who has known suffering—though some or much— of it is self-inflicted. It made me cry. In a good way. It will redeem your faith in everyday people. I highly recommend this book. You will be changed having read it.
