Really charming movie, with great performances by all. Chad plays about as likable a dude as there is. The themes are living in the present moment and not taking anything for granted, especially family, and love. Given the division in this country at the moment, I think we could all stand to really lean in to those themes.

I’ve seen a lot of war movies, but this one hits especially hard since I’m an American and we’re living in a moment where political violence not only feels possible, but likely (at a fairly large scope). Poignant, incredibly sad to watch what could happen to our country through the lens of this young photographer. And what a performance by Dunst…

The leads are both 10/10 looks wise; everything else, not so hot.

Try The Sinner if you want something similar but *much* better. They took the best scenery/backdrop possible (Sausalito, the Bay) for this show, and ruined it with bad writing, and surprisingly bad acting given the cast. One of Apple’s worst
