I'm a big time werewolf movie fan! I've seen Casper in other roles and thought his acting in this thing was rather telegraphed. I attended the Van Mar Academy, where coincidentally, Casper was a student. I knew Ivan Markota. Tough as nails teacher, but great mentor. And he was always going on about Casper's beginnings. In this movie though, he was somewhat out of his element. And the creature was a total joke. Looked like big foot or a deformed Wookie. Hilarious! The storyline was just not interesting enough to keep my attention. I just laughed the first time the wolf appeared. Some dude in a Yak Ghillie Suit. Long gone are the days of An American Werewolf in London and The Howling. Those were low budget films, but had immense production value. That's what's missing here. Make cheap films, but don't let the audience see that. Infuse them with as much high production value as possible. Or at least keep the monster in the dark as much as possible. Cheers Casper. Good to see you're still active.
