Dee Wee Gee

The writing and acting were atrocious. There was nothing about the characters or plot that captivated the audience. I’d rather stick a lit cigarette in my eye than rewatch this garbage heap of a film. The camera work and cinematography were abysmal. Everything was blurry, out of focus, and too dark. It was like watching a movie through a tank of muddy water. I can’t overstate how much I hated this film.

I had such high hopes for this film. It was one of the most uninteresting things I’ve ever seen. I feel like this film didn’t know what it was and what direction to take the audience. The film spent very little time in telling any story or developing characters. It just droned on from one disjointed scene to the next for 2.5 hours. I feel like there was a lot of potential, with scenes having moments of almost good to great, but they all eventually fell flat. There was no development at all of the main character. Napoleon in the film was uncharismatic, uninteresting, and disenchanting. He was an NPC at best. What a bummer!
