I have not read the book yet. However, it is not fair for people to make negative judgments on Harry’s story. Harry is talking about his family issues and his personal experiences which we all know that every home has skeletons in the closet. It is perhaps fair for all of us to stop being judgmental and ask these questions. Did he and his family felt threatened or let alone felt uncomfortable with something within their family?.
William and Harry had traumatic experiences when they lost their mother at a very young age. There is academic evidence that experiencing similar trauma at such young ages can leave scars and fears. It is very true that both Will and Harry have flashbacks and they definitely have an element of fear about how their mother died. However, people deal with their trauma differently. Perhaps, Harry and wife noticed certain trends resonating with the death his mother. The truth is, the departure from their country was triggered by their perceived fear at the time which still echoes in Harry’s revelation. His father and brother have not uttered a word but some people are speaking on their behalf as if they live in their household. What happens in families remains private until someone talks.
