This lack of balance makes the series lose its suspense and become entirely predictable. The plot feels sluggish and uninspired, making it a chore to watch. The characters lack depth and development, resulting in a series full of unrelatable and forgettable personas. The dialogue is often stilted and unnatural, making the interactions between characters feel forced and unconvincing. Even the battle scenes, which should be the highlight of a historical drama, are poorly choreographed and lack the intensity needed to keep viewers engaged. Overall, "The Last Kingdom" fails to deliver on its promise, leaving much to be desired in terms of storytelling and production quality. I would not recommend this series to anyone.
