I don't think anyone mentioned Narcissism with the killing of the children and mother of their children by partners where the family has to leave a controlling and dangerous man. 'Narcissistic wounding' describes the reaction with anyone who lashes out and kills because they cannot get over someone doing something they feel shames them, like daring to stand up for themselves with sustained control and abuse as a rights of the father / man of the house. The fact she dared to leave can only be punished with murder... to let her know.. she was not allowed to make decisions for herself. Run from any egotistical males..
