First things first, you had better play the game of your life in the first game. These servers will not give you a second game. Hopefully you pick the right class on the first spawn, if you dare to change your class, you will never spawn with a weapon again. At least until you restart the game. However, beware, restarting the game could be the end of your day in battlefield v. Half the people who do spawn are just walking around as bright neon green test characters. If you find yourself just relentlessly being killed and it seems like you can't move without being spotted, thats probably why. You can be seen with iron sights from spawn to spawn. Its really like a becon of death. When the game actually does find the time to run well, even if it is just for a couple minutes, its alright. The allure of the battlefield franchise has always been the realism as compared to COD and some of the others. Bullet drop is barely a thing anymore. Apparently every WW2 sniper rifle has the same range and accuracy as the modern greats? Somehow though it still takes 2 massive sniper rounds to the chest at slower range to get a kill? A semi auto handgun can deal the same damage? WHAT HAPPENED TO HARDCORE? Did the idea of listening to the fan base just die completely with BF4?
