Korea has a wonderful track record of a thriving musical theater history and it’s nice to see it hitting the small screen. Many top stars as well as idols have had their starts there. Nice to see Ji Chang Wook’s versatility with acting and song. He has a pleasant voice. Would like to see more musical settings in the future

Thought this film was excellent with a solid cast. Negative reviews came from the premise that it was hackneyed and trite. Bet those reviews came from Gen X viewers who never experienced war or incarceration up close or could not begin to imagine the horrors of WWII. Hard to reconcile Modern day Japanese culture with the monsters capable of horrific deeds. Founded in fact though, so check your history books - not the ones written in modern day Japan.

Best news analyses put forth in critical historical context. Always treats the viewer what utmost respect to intelligently frame the news of the day. Her interviews are always enlightening and far exceed run of the mill reportage. Her program is must see TV in our world where frequently news is put forth in a black and white manner.
